AI Impish exists for one reason: most AI coverage is either breathless hype or dense academic jargon. We wanted something in between — sharp, skeptical, and actually useful.
We started AI Impish because we were tired of reading the same five AI newsletters say the same thing about the same three companies. So we built the site we wished existed: tool reviews we'd trust from a friend, prompts we've actually tested on real work, and news coverage that tells you why something matters, not just that it happened.
"Impish" is the point. AI writing doesn't have to be self-serious to be credible. We'll call out the hype when we see it, laugh at the absurd parts of this industry, and still give you a straight, useful answer every time.
